Alef

For quite some time I have been folowing my 91-year-old grandfather, who spends part of his life in Croatia. In the next chapter, I’m continuing my photo series that intimately follows his daily routines — quiet moments, gestures, traces of time — all pieces of a life well-lived.

This project is both personal and archival: a visual letter to the future generations of our family, a way to preserve and honor the rhythm of his days, his resilience, and his quiet wisdom.

Thank you, Grandpa, for letting me follow you around in peace for a whole month.

With love,

Your granddaughter Sofija
