Entropy

Entropy is a concept in physics that describes the degree of disordered or chaotic energy in a system, and it represents the tendency of a system to spontaneously move toward a state of greater disorder.

In one Belgrade street, I observe visual changes that arise in the everyday urban environment. This photo series was created in Knez Danilova Street during 2024 and 2025.

Although I wasn't born on that street, I live there today, and it's part of the neighborhood where I grew up. I chose it because it is familiar, close, and part of my daily life — and it is precisely in that familiarity that I search for subtle changes: traces of time, human interventions, and natural decay that testify to the gradual introduction of entropy into the urban fabric.

Through this series of photographs, I attempt to capture moments of disorder, spontaneity, and transience that often go unnoticed, yet speak to the life of the city and its everyday dynamics.
